SwellPlug™: The Simple Solution for Complex Problems
SwellPlug™ is a proprietary, field-proven pumpable isolation system engineered to solve complex downhole isolation challenges with elegant simplicity. Unlike traditional methods relying on cement, complex resins, or mechanical tools, SwellPlug is a pumpable high-expansion swellable particulate combined with an active fiber that creates a high-pressure seal in both large and small applications. It swells to create a durable, pressure-tight barrier — conforming to the target space without the need for complex tools, post treatment milling, or expensive surface operations.
Designed for versatility and speed, SwellPlug is ideal for Refrac preparation, casing repair, water shutoff, P&A and other targeted isolation applications. It conforms to irregular geometries and degraded casing, offering a robust seal of greater than 10K psi (in both directions of flow), and can be operated even in hostile high temperature environments.
