Safe-Carb is an acid-soluble calcium carbonate used as a bridging agent and weighting agent to control fluid loss and density. Safe-Carb is a high-purity ground marble used in all water-, oil-, and synthetic based fluids and due to its high-purity and high hardness, it provides a greater resistance to particle size degradation than alternative products. Safe-Carb is also used widely in the O&G industry as a loss circulation material to control seepage losses to high permeability formations.
